Daq & Mag Daiquiri's

They have absolutely PHENOMENAL customer service & they treat EVERYONE with mad love & respect! I was privy to it! I ordered to go, but before leaving I said, "Let me have a little taste before I go." & that led to me dining in then taking the rest to go. Lololol!!!! Listen!!!!! These oxtails were phenomenal!!!! They were extremely meaty, tender & beyond flavorful!!! The rice was perfectly cooked! The black-eyed peas were soft and well seasoned, but the yams weren't candied enough for me (although their texture was spot on). The hot water cornbread was a little dry & wasn't sweet, but def a good addition to the meal! I'm most def driving back over here to try their fish and other items!! 😋🤤

My husband found this place on TikTok! When I tell you they have the best soul food! We dined in and the atmosphere was amazing. They have jazz playing and intimate tables, perfect for a nice date. They also serve Daiquiri's but I don't drink so I didn't indulge. I had ox tails, yams, black eye peas, cornbread, cabbage, and mac and cheese. My husband had catfish, fries, and shrimp. We enjoyed a nice spread and every morsel was good. This is a nice place to come when you want some real good food. Needless to say we both had a great time. They also have a drive through and take out if you are in a hurry. Everything is cooked to order! You have to try it and decide for yourself!!

This was my 2nd time coming here and it's has improved. I ordered a 2 piece and 3 piece catfish. This order came with fries, bread, and jalapeno peppers. Then added 2 orders of mac n cheese and peach cobbler. Overall everything was good, but the mac n cheese had a Ridiculous LARGE amount of cheese. Honestly I didn't mind but for some might be too much...it could be something you can actually share....depending on how you eat. Other than that it was all good. Just ask for extra tartar sauce and ketchup. This is the only place in my area where I can care less about the price . When I want to treat my self to some good seasoned food this is absolutely #1 . Good fish, wings , Mac and cheese, fries , and peach cobbler. The owner are super nice and professional.

My very first time here a will NOT be back unfortunately the wings as well as the fries were absolutely disgusting. The wings were not cooked long enough and the fries tasted like they got them in the freezer section at cost saver with freezer burns. No flavor in the wings an I ordered spicy ranch, never again I wish I could get my refund.

This was my 1st time here. I have seen so many people post about them on FB. I just had to try it. Took me a year to make it. But, oh boy am I glad I did. I believe in doing my google reviews faithfully. I went after worship service. I used the drive thru. You can go in and sit down and eat. But, they take your order, you pay, and then they have you to park to the left side of the building. They will bring it out to you. It doesn't take long either. It comes out piping hot. I don't know where to start on the greens and Mac and cheese. I enjoyed the veggies!!! Next time I will add some yams. The ox tails are tender and sits on a bed of rice. They are good as well. They are beef ox tails. It was worth the cost of them. I will definitely be going again if it's just for the veggies and the cornbread muffin. I don't understand the negative reviews of cold food and tasteless food. I can say the ox tails were seasoned and very good. The greens were very tender and seasoned. The Mac and cheese was delicious. I went for the ox tails and nothing else. That's what I see people post all the time. The wait was not an hour and some have posted. I got there shortly after they had opened. Food was ready. And, it was plenty food. I can eat off of the plate for two days. So, I guess people are really greedy. I don't know how you can eat all those ox tails and two sides in one setting. I ate one ox tail and half of my sides and half of my cornbread muffin. I was full and sleepy. Went straight to sleep.

This place is a gem. It is conveniently delicious! They have a drive through, which we used. The food came out hot and quick. The service was attentive and polite. Our large order came out correct the first time, making this stop quick and easy. The portion sizes do not disappoint and the flavor of each dish is full and abundant. The cornbread was slightly dry and falling apart, however the flavor more than made up for it. The Daqs are surprisingly great! The flavors are bold and pack a punch. I recommend trying this place out at least once!

Oh my goodness. This was such a good experience. Customer service was good, and the food was amazing. I'd definitely recommend this place to anyone and everyone. I had the Mac & cheese along with the fried fish, which came with fries and toast. The fish was crispy and delicious, and the Mac was sooooo cheesy and flavorful. My husband had the lemon pepper wings and he couldn't even speak he was so focused on eating 🤣🤣🤣 We aren't in Dallas often, but this would definitely be a place to stop in when we come back.

Stumbled upon them looking for the nearest Chase bank. Saw they sold ox tails so I stopped. Wouldn't say they were expensive because everything has gone up. They do give hearty portions. The ox tails were tender. I like a little more seasoning but I'm a country girl. The rice was perfect and the gravy was good. The greens were flavored with turkey meat and pretty tender. The black eyed peas were cooked thoroughly and seasoned well. I like sweet cornbread so it was just the way I like it. The lady working the drive thru was friendly and courteous. Didn't have to wait long for my order. Would have liked some pecan or peach cobbler but they didn't have any. I'll go back simply to try the cobblers. They had other items on the menu I'd like to try as well such as wings and fried fish.
